#9 Yangon

Finally, my well-deserved off days are here and I have time to complete my pending posts. Yesterday was one of the best-ever flight I ever did. Big thanks to the set of crews I flew with. (Sadly, I didn't managed to snap a picture with all of them.) From the title, it tells you where I flew to. It is also one of the country that I planned to visit in April but I guess I have to give it a miss. (Schedule too tight to go with colleagues)

Since we landed early and we were parked right beside a private jet so I went down to snap a photo with the pretty plane. SO HERE WE GO..

I'm way too small in the pictures because I want the whole body of the plane to be taken <3

*Please ignore my chubby face :(
Charming, Kayjay and myself

Sissy Kayjay and I @ Yangon

The whole flight was crazy, so much laughters and nonsenses going on. I believed that Kayjay, Kenny, Azizah and Charming also enjoyed themself. Thank God for the wonderful set of crew.

#7 Late night shopping!

Shopping is girl's favourite past-time, and some guys too. Where in Singapore can you find somewhere to shop at night(wee hours)?

Think before you even said that there's any places you can! Forever crowded place that opens 24hours everyday is Mustafa! Mustafa is located at near Farrer Park station not Little India station. (INCASE SOME PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW.)

I love this place because you can find almost everything you want! Be it clothings to electronics to household stuffs and etc! Tell me why don't you love this place! I know some people will start commenting that is filled with indian. (Very racist!)

I visited Mustafa with my friends on Saturday night (wrong timing to go). Weekends are always crowded because many people do not have to work so they tend to go there to shop especially foreign workers. The things there are cheaper than market price. I know many people will disagree with what I said as I read on forums saying that Mustafa may not offers the cheapest price.  But most items are! Even our local blogger, Xiaxue goes there to get her pregnancy kits.

So back to me going there. My main purpose is to get a new luggage to replace the old one I got from bangkok. I can't trust that luggage anymore. I afraid that it might just die during my upcoming trip. I have seen a few luggages at sale and shopping malls. Now, I decided to checkout Mustafa. The choices of brand is way too much! Don't know what to choose. I got my first cabin luggage here too. It costed me $109! Expensive but durable! ♡ Sadly, it's way too small for me to fit much stuffs inside so I got muji luggage in Osaka. I didn't managed to snap photos because is way to crowded. I have problems finding the lugggage section because the buildings are way too complicated. Found it with the help of workers there. (Thankful for friendly workers there.) 1 tip when buying luggage - Remember to check inside out. They do not have a new piece,  the availables are all the display sets.

I was unable to make up my mind which to get because I wanted a black one but a red luggage attracted me too much. :( But I didn't want to waste too much time so I just took the American Tourister Black Luggage and paid. Cheaper than retail price. If you think Mustafa is too far away from you, you might want to check out their outlet store located @ Changi Point. The Service Center is located just beside the store.

The middle Luggage is the one I got from Mustafa.
Left side was bought from Bangkok and Far right is MUJI luggage.
Apology no photos taken @ Mustafa because it was way too crowded. :(

#6 baking day

It's been more than months since I last bake and I guess I'm rusty in baking even using premix packet.
I had my lunch with my mum and headed to supermarket and saw that betty cockes chocolate chip premix having discount so I bought it.

Once I got home, I started preparing my baking stuff. What I needed was 1whole butter (I suggest to put half will do), 1 egg and premix packet. Why did I say half of the butter(125g) will do? Because my first batch of cookies was too oily and I decided to add plain flour in.

2 Packets of Betty Cockes Premix ($3.90)
1 Butter ($2.05)
1 Egg

Must take photo with my premix! :)

Pour Premix into mixing bowl

Add egg and butter and mix the dough. If you think is too wet, add some plain flour.
Preheat oven while mixing

Place dough on plate. Make sure you place them apart or else they will start sticking to one another.

End result.
I had failed twice during baking because of too much butter so I added flour into the dough and mix again. It was so much better. The cookie is not soft nor very hard, just nice. Brother and mum tasted and said that the chocolate chip is really sweet. For me, I find it too sweet. If you planning to bake, please drink more water to prevent sore throat.

Happy baking for begininers! :) I'll find time to bake my favourite cupcakes and with frosting this time!

*As I'm using netbook so I'm unable to edit the photo. Sorry for the lousy quality :(

#5 Packing a lugagge?

Do you have trouble packing luggage for holiday? Be it to somewhere nearby or far, short or long trip. I always do have the problem and sometimes I missed out some stuff. Let share some tips on packing items

1. Roll up your clothes instead of stacking them. This helps to fill up empty space inbetween if there is and takes up lesser space.

2. Avoid bringing too much Jeans as it's heavy. Wear it if you really need a pair of jeans for your holiday.

3.Check if the hotel/hostel/guesthouse provide toiletries. So you don't have to bring shampoo, toothpaste, towel and etc along. But remember to bring facial wash(IMPORTANT)!

4.Always bring tissuse along. Be it the dry or wet one!

5.Wear shoes instead of slipper. Slipper can go into luggage as it take less space.

6. Bring necessary amount of clothes. If you're there for shopping spree, I'll suggest to bring lesser than what you need. You may want to bring those clothes that you do not want, so you can throw it away after you got new clothes.

7. Pack your medication into a ziplock bag instead of a first-aid box.

This are the few pointers to lookout when packing luggage. We tend to overpack for holiday and worst still during winter. During winter, you just have to remember to bring heat tech. It keeps you really warm and don't have layer yourself with too many clothes. (end up looking as if you're fat.)

If you have anymore tips on packing for luggage, do share with us. Drop me a comment :)

#4 TGIF

Thank God is Friday! or rather Saturday. What's your weekends like? My kind of weekends used to party all day long, coming home in the wee hours with all the cig and alochol smell. But now, not anymore. I still miss going to club enjoying myself with the awesome music and dancefloor. <3 I don't have the urge to go there as often as before.

Are you wondering why I suddenly talk about this? I'm just being random. Since I had no plans and got nothing much to do on a Friday night so I read my old blog posts.I realised the amount posts that consists of work rants and after party posts really too much. I need to chill and stop doing all this. I'm freaking 22 this year and I haven't success in much of my goals. I've yet to travel much around the world to see things I never get to see in Singapore. I love experiencing different lifestyles and cultures. That's why I'm in the airline industry. I also enjoy meeting new people, new friends. I have friends from many different parts of the world. I'm really blessed to have those wonder friends all over the world to share their lifestyles and about their countries. I enjoy listening to their stories. You gotta have the passions in order to enjoy it.

If you read my posts, you will know about my planned trip to Seoul in 8days time. It's not my first time to Seoul but is my first time going free&easy at Seoul. It's a self-challenge to overcome everything. Be it the communication, traveling around and be independent in everything. I did countless time in Bangkok ( probably because bangkok is tourist-friendly.) I love the friendliness of people in bangkok and I'm sure koreans are friendly as well. Can't wait. Are you being excited for me too? I'll try to get myself a laptop as soon as I come back from Seoul inorder for me to upload and update on my trip.

Aside from my excitment for my holiday trip to Seoul, my worries for next coming appointment with my specialist doctor is killing. Finally, the forgetful/lazy me called to make appointment with doctor for discussion of my surgery. Mum had hers done today and the pain she went through was crazy( as per what she said). I'm worried but I believe and pray God will be there and take those pains away. A little details if you do not whats with my hand. Last year July, I met in an accident during work and caused my thumb ligament tore plus fracture. I went through months of pain before the doctor finalise with me the result and advised on surgery. Surgery was not the only way out but I guess that's the best. It may not recover fully after it but I'm still willing to try for the sake of my future and myself. I'm thankful for people who care and concerned for me. I'll stay strong and pull through.

Alright, it's getting real late. Time for bed. Goodnight to my lovely readers. <3

For you, my readers. (There's no wrong being vain.)

#3 Sophia Brow house/brows treatment

Ive something to share with people who has trouble with their brows. Recently, I did my touchup for brows. If you follwed me on instagram, you will know most of the details. I'm not being sponsored for doing this post for anyone. This is out of goodwill. I'll be more than happy if they are willing to sponsor me. :)

I always have problems about brows. I'm born with almost brow-less which I think some girls and guys have the same problems. And it is such a hassle to always draw my brows. It is always not neatly drawn so Sophia Brow House came to solve my problem. They have a few outlet but I often visit Marine Parade. It's very nearthe bus stop where the 7-11 is. My eyebrow artist is Sharon. Please make appointment before heading down if you want her to do your brows or any service for you. She's very busy with appointment. Thank God I called before heading down the other day. The first time I went, she introduced the different types of embroidery to me. this allows me to decide what I want. Next she will draw the shape of brow that your face suit most with eyebrow pencil. If you are happy with the shape she drew for you, she will start the process.

1. First, she has to numb your skins or else it will hurt like shittttt! I mean it when I said that it hurts. Because the numb cream effect faded after awhile and I thought it was going to finish, so I bear through with the pain till I asked if its done.
2. She will start to use this special blade to ink the brows. I think you can request for other color or else it will be black for the usual. It will take roughly an hour to two hours to complete for the first time. If it's touch up, it will take about an hour only.
3.She will color darker so the color wont fade so easily.
4. She will recommend you to buy a cream because your skin will start peeling after one or two days.
5.It's all done!

I will not diclose how much I paid and the service I did here. Sharon was nice to always offer me with promotion and all. Please tell her that you read my post and came down for her service so the next time I can discuss with her to give my readers a special promotion as well.

Oh, you may want to try their facial. It's really good. But I dislike all the squeezing of my pimples. I was really in pain when she did the squeezing of it! But the result was awesome.Yes, I just said it's AWESOME! I'll post up some pictures for you to see.

Thank you for reading too ^^

#2 Everyday Look (LUST TO LUSH)

Hey girls, whats your everyday look/makeup is like? Dramatic? Simple? Natural? Is there a must thing that you can't go without before stepping out of your room/house?

For me, there's one very very important thing. My contact lens is a MUST at all times when I go out. Be it to the market nearby, to somewhere far or wherever. I just can't leave with my lens. I never like to wear spec because I look nerdy in it.

I've very sensitive eyes and I took a long period before I could find the best contact lens for myself (my eyes). I have tried many different lens. Most gave me red eyes after wearing or it drys very quickly. My job requires me to wear contact lens and I was troubled with finding the best lens till I came across, Duffy Beau<3

I'll be doing a short post for Duffy Beau for free. I just want to let more people have trouble-free finding the right and best lens. I'm not being paid for doing this at all. I don't mind being sponsor for my lens though. ^^ I came across a lot of online sellers that sell lens but there are some that don't do ibanking transfer/atm transfer, some that do not do mailing and etc. I think it is necessary for online sellers to have a bank account so we can do transferring easily and of course mailing of stuff instead of wanting us to meet them. Duffy Beau accepts all payments, and do mailing for your items. It give you more secured option than other online seller does.

DUFFY BEAU HAS SHIFTED TO FACEBOOK PAGE. GO TO FACEBOOK SEARCH AND TYPE LUST TO LUSH!

Promblematic contact lens that caused red eyes for more than a week:(
My new found love @ Duffy Beau.
Black lens of different design <3

Lens of the month, brown lens

I would rate their lens 9.5/10.
Where's the 0.5 points to? Because nothing is perfect but their lens are almost perfect!

I have recommended many friends around me to try their lens and they commented that is really comfortable. I can wear it for more than 12hours and is still so comfortable. No worries about having dry lens, or uncomfortable lens. They have good feedbacks all the time. You may want to go to facebook and search for Duffy Beau.

They take in order only 1st-9th every month and goingon promotion. Do check out their facebook page now.Spread the words to your fellow friends too. If I can get sponsorship from them, I'll do giveaway for all my readers.

#1 Hellosusie's readers.

Good day people! I've decided to move out of excusemykisses.blogspot.sg because of images problem. I hope this new blog will solve the problems I had before.

It's 10days more to my trip to Seoul.I can't wait to get out of Singapore and enjoy this stressfree days. The last holiday I had was last year September excluding all my layover trips to Japan for work. That's pretty long ago if you were to count. My goals for this year shallbe travel more and firstly I must save. It's very hard for me to save because I buy a lot of useless stuffs or I spent too much on my comestic. You can't blame us, girls. We want to be pretty because guys love pretty girls. Don't you ever say no. Will you want ugly betty as your girlfriend? Haha. It was just an example. No offtence. *Cheers.

I'm lazying away my last day off before 5days of flights start. I'm starting to feel tired working as a stewardess. With our daily irregular sleeping hours, insuffience rest at times, and most of the time in heels, I really want to die. People judge us as stewardess who only want to get attention of pilots, stewardess who wants to rich business man and all. There might be some, but not all. The hard work behind the everything only we can see, no one else see it. We have to go through weeks of trainings, countless of exam before we are given the license to fly high up in the air. We have to be always alert at anytime because at any time, we may have an emerency. It isn't that easy at all. Think twice before you join this line.

Of course, there are pros and cons for every job. If you think you can challenge yourself to all this. Give it a try. :) Emirate, Scoots and Singapore Airline have opening. Do check out flygosh@bs for more information.

Mr Sun has been annoying me so much that I rather stay home during my off days. Icy cold drinks are cooling down the annoyed level of mine. Why can't my country have 3seasons? Exclude the summer as I dislike the hot weather. At least have some wind if you want to shine us or rather burn us. (I'm being irritating here.)

Enough of my ranting. Thank for being my faithful readers.

Love,
Susie
